Outreach Intern
Upstream Population Health, Ltd. Co., publisher of Black Woman’s Guide to Advancing in Academia, is seeking an Outreach Intern to expand awareness and branding for the book and online community.
The book features the stories of 12 professors from public health and other disciplines. It provides strategies to increase competitiveness when entering and advancing in faculty positions.
The intern will be responsible for creatively engaging with university bookstores and graduate student associations. The intern will support marketing strategy needs and manage social media accounts for a wellness community and other responsibilities as assigned.
Strong written and oral communication skills required. Undergraduate or graduate level applicants welcome. This is a three hour per week commitment. Course credit is available and Upstream will work with your program for required documentation. Payment based on successful university bookstore partnerships will be given. Remote/telecommute position.
